Pleasant summer thoughts. No beaches around here. Do the rocky shores surrounding streams and ponds count? That’s one way we enjoyed our summers when I was a kid. We’d bike there–no parents, no cellphones–and be gone for hours. And no one worried as long as we were home before dark.
